- Base Mixture:
- 1 box instant vanilla pudding mix 3.4 oz
- 2 cups cold milk
- 1 container Cool Whip 8 oz, thawed
- 1/2 cup mini marshmallows optional, for texture
- Mix-Ins:
- 1 package Oreos about 30 cookies, crushed
- 2–3 tablespoons peanut butter optional, for a twist
- Topping:
- Extra crushed Oreos for garnish
- Whipped cream or more Cool Whip for serving
Prepare the pudding: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the instant vanilla pudding mix and cold milk until thickened (about 2 minutes).
Fold in Cool Whip: Gently stir in the thawed whipped topping until smooth and creamy.
Add the mix-ins: Fold in crushed Oreos and mini marshmallows (if using). If adding peanut butter, swirl it in now.
Chill: Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to let the flavors meld.
Serve: Scoop into bowls, top with extra whipped cream and crushed Oreos, and enjoy!
-
Don’t over-crush the Oreos: Leave some chunks for texture instead of turning them into fine crumbs.
-
Fold gently: When adding Cool Whip, fold instead of stirring aggressively to keep the fluff light and airy.
-
Chill before serving: While you can serve it right away, letting it rest in the fridge makes the flavors richer.
-
Store properly: Keep fluff in an airtight container in the refrigerator to prevent it from drying out.
-
Make ahead: This dessert tastes even better after a night in the fridge.
